Deputy Corporate Officer

The Deputy Corporate Officer provides a secretariat for Village Council. This function includes agenda preparation, the recording of official minutes, the administration and certification of Municipal Bylaws, and the execution of all legal documents on behalf of the Municipality. In addition, the Corporate Officer is responsible for the administration of civic and school district elections and for the conducting of public referenda.

The Deputy Corporate Officer manages and preserves all Council, Committee, and Corporate records through a records management and archives program. Responsibilities also include processing requests for the release of information under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
