ARENA UPDATE – February 8, 2024

Good news!

The new arena chiller units have arrived in Burns Lake, and contractors have begun installation work!

What now?

  • Installation is expected to take about 2 weeks.
  • Upon successful start-up and testing of the plant, staff will begin building ice as quickly as we can; this is also expected to take about 2 weeks until it is ready.
  • Staff are planning on running the ice for a shortened ice season for up to 2 months beginning early March.
  • Stay tuned for updated program and events schedule!
